How does the process work?

Once you fill out the Contact form, I'll be in touch by email. We'll discuss your needs and the best way to conduct your session(s). We'll set an appointment time and I'll invoice you via Paypal. Once paid, your appointment will be scheduled and instructions will be sent.

How do I know whether I need an hour, 90 minutes, or a package of sessions?

Hour-long sessions are normally fine for simpler things, for example, a situation with a client, asking a few questions on different topics, etc. 90-minute consults are better suited for things like an in depth consult about a difficult case, discussing or working on one or two particular skills or behaviors, or a longer chat about training and behavior. If you would like to learn or improve in the areas of teaching obedience skills or designing protocols, would like to address more complex issues like fear, aggression, or separation anxiety, or have other needs that would benefit from more time and attention, a package of sessions might be more appropriate. If you need more time once a package is completed, you are eligible for a 10% discount on all future sessions.

Can I send you video or a case history ahead of time?

Yes, absolutely! My goal is to spend our time as efficiently as possible, so preparation is helpful. 

How can you monitor a client session?

By using Zoom, an app like Skype or Facetime, or even Facebook Video, you can have me virtually tag along on your session. Of course, you will need your client's permission, and it is advisable that your client have a second person available to manage the phone or tablet if needed.

If I buy a 3-pack of sessions, do I have to complete it within a certain time frame?

Although I will never rush you, it is best to keep momentum going. For that reason, once we have had our initial session, the next three sessions should be completed within three months. That allows plenty of time for questions and situations to arise or, if we're working on training and behavior, for the instruction to be completed. 

What if I have to cancel a session?

Sessions canceled with more than 24 hours notice can be rescheduled. Sessions with less than 24 hours notice are non-refundable.
